THE Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints celebrates the birth and life of Jesus Christ through the #LightTheWorld by caring for individuals one by one throughout the month of December. For more than 30 years, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been lighting the Manila Philippines Temple grounds as a Christmas tradition and usually expects thousands of members and friends of other faiths to visit as the Yuletide holiday draws near. However, since visitors will not be able to visit the temple grounds due to the pandemic, the Philippines Area Presidency has decided to bring the lighting event online. In the Philippines, the Church currently has two operating temples, one in Quezon City, the Manila Philippines Temple and another one in Lahug, Cebu City, the Cebu City Philippines Temple.
