THE Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints celebrates the birth and life of Jesus Christ through the #LightTheWorld by caring for individuals one by one throughout the month of December. For more than 30 years, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been lighting the Manila Philippines Temple grounds as a Christmas tradition and usually expects thousands of members and friends of other faiths to visit as the Yuletide holiday draws near. However, since visitors will not be able to visit the temple grounds due to the pandemic, the Philippines Area Presidency has decided to bring the lighting event online. In the Philippines, the Church currently has two operating temples, one in Quezon City, the Manila Philippines Temple and another one in Lahug, Cebu City, the Cebu City Philippines Temple. CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental--Residents in two barangays here gathered on October 9 to voice out their sentiments against the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA). The indignation rally ws led by Claveria town mayor Meraluna S Abrogar. He was joined by some residents of barangays Bulahan and Tipolohon and the affected workers of Del Monte Philippines, Inc. The indignation rally aimed at emporing the community to have united and firm stand not to support the NPAs including any of its organizations. According to the workers and the local populace, they are being tired and disturbed by the continuous exploitation of the terrorist groups that is why they called the terrorists to stop their deception, destruction, lies and their victimizing of innocent people.
